Assemblage art
What is Assemblage?
Assemblage is a form of three-dimensional visual art whose compositions are formed from everyday items, usually called "found objects."
Assemblage art gives objects new meanings, that makes creative connections between disparate elements, and elevates non-art materials into the realm of art. In modern art, the term "found object" (a translation of the French phrase "objet trouvé") is used to describe a natural or discarded object, a miscellaneous items of little value found by an artist, which found by chance and held to have aesthetic value is then presented as a work of art.
